The forum clearly positioned Quendoo at the forefront of the country’s digital tourism transformation, delivering a strong message: Macedonian tourism is entering a new era of digital competitiveness. Through Quendoo’s vision and expertise, the focus shifted toward adopting advanced digital tools and solutions that directly enhance sales performance, visibility, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability.
The event was officially opened by the Tourism Advisor to the Prime Minister and moderated by NAITM President Mr. Vlatko Sulev alongside Quendoo co-founder Gorian Varbanov.
A key takeaway was that platforms like Quantum are not merely networking events, but catalysts for transformation. They establish the essential foundations for growth: stronger digital visibility, optimised distribution, increased direct bookings, more professionalized management, and enhanced destination competitiveness.
At a critical moment when Macedonia’s tourism sector is striving to strengthen its position in the global market, Quantum Skopje stood out as a decisive and value-driven initiative. The event exceeded expectations, equipping attendees with actionable insights from leading international and regional experts. Participants gained practical knowledge to modernise their operations, improve performance, and unlock new revenue opportunities.
Hotels and tourism businesses were introduced to a comprehensive ecosystem of digital tools and distribution channels—including Google Hotels, OTAs, channel management systems, booking engines, AI-powered solutions, and advanced digital distribution strategies. The focus was clear: empower local businesses to increase direct sales, reduce dependency on intermediaries, and achieve stronger international market visibility.
A highlight of the event was Quendoo’s live demonstration of its advanced technology suite, including its latest AI-powered agent. This innovation positions Quendoo as a key enabler of hotel independence and growth, allowing properties to significantly increase direct bookings, reduce commission costs, and enhance their presence across Google Hotels and digital search platforms. As a result, Macedonian hotels gain a competitive edge—being discovered by potential guests at the exact moment of intent, while also improving connectivity with tour operators and B2B partners through faster, more efficient exchange of pricing, availability, and reservations.
Further strengthening the impact is the collaborative effort of NAITM and the Swiss IME Program, who will provide co-financed vouchers to support hotels in synchronising their management systems with global distribution channels. This initiative enhances access to international markets, improves sales efficiency, and accelerates digital adoption across the sector. In parallel, the Swiss SIPPO Program contributes to strengthening NAITM’s institutional capacity, ensuring long-term sustainability and broader reach of digitalization efforts within the tourism industry.
As highlighted by Goran Damovski, Director of the Swiss Market Employability Program (IME), this combined support equips hotels with the tools needed to become more competitive, reinforces NAITM’s role as a key industry driver, and positions the Macedonian tourism sector as more visible, resilient, and future-ready.
